Ben Rayner grew up in London, landing his first job at the age of 19 shooting artists and musicians for magazines like Dazed & Confused and VICE. Ben's work has grown to include fashion, portraiture and lifestyle photography, creating work for the pages of Vogue, Nylon, Wonderland, and others. Ben's strong connection to his subjects has enabled him to produce authentic, intimate images for every assignment, including photographing talent like Felicity Jones, ASAP Rocky, Bella Hadid, Greta Gerwig, Lil Wayne, MGMT, Haim, Russell Brand, Mia Goth and Alexa Chung.

“In an ideal world my work is almost a photo diary of a day,” Ben says about his work. “I’d like to make it feel like it’s just me and my subject. Ultimate comfort, really, between me and them. These are the pictures we would make if we weren’t being commissioned by someone.”

When he’s not contributing to the likes of Vogue Russia, The New York Times, and Wonderland, he’s working with his advertising clients that include Nike, adidas, Apple, Converse and Stussy.

For his personal work, Ben has published numerous Zines and as well as three monographs: "Power Ballads", "(UN)FAMILIAR" and "Karaoke Photographs". Ben’s exhibitions have shown in New York and London, all the way to Tokyo, and even Sweden. In 2010 Ben moved to New York City with his wife. They live in Manhattan with their cat and dog.
